Obstetric Practical Nursing Instructor (Part time/Adjunct) - Saginaw, MI

Minimum Qualifications

Must document and maintain current, unencumbered Michigan licensure as a registered nurse (RN) Experience in Obstetrics is required.

• Labor and Delivery background and/or caring for Childbearing mothers as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a comparable position. Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing science (BSN) or be an individual who is actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is qualified to teach in the Registered Nurse program. Courses not entitled “NUR” may be facilitated by a qualified degree in the subject taught. Documented enrollment in BSN program required. ‘Exception” paperwork must be submitted with the Michigan Board of Nursing (MBON) prior to instructor teaching. One year of documented experience related to the course taught, preferred.
