Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other related field from an accredited college or university and at least three years of experience in the field. Prior college level teaching experience preferred. CASAC and/or equivalent education and experience preferred. Experience teaching online, hybrid and in person classes, daytime and evening availability preferred. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide classroom and on-line instruction in Addictions Counseling/Human Services.
• Evaluate student performance and complete assessment as required by the college.
• Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer course review.
• Visit internship sites on a regular basis at the direction of the Department Chairperson. (This involves travel throughout the Capital District)
• At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.
• Participation in departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported.
• At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract. The Salary is $53,000.00. This position is to begin 8/31/2026.
