Job description

  • Liberty POST is currently seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Teacher’s Aides for part-time employment (8-35 hours weekly) to work with children who are birth-3 years old through Early Intervention.
  • Immediate positions are available in our brand-new office in Hauppauge.
  • Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994.
  • Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana.
  • We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with children with autism spectrum disorder ages 18 -39 months in a group setting. Aides support children in group activities as well as work 1:1 under the direction of a Special Education Teacher using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Early Childhood Experience preferred but not required Great interpersonal and communication skills Team player who can multi-task High School Diploma required. Some college credits in a related field preferred. Willingness to be trained in Applied Behavior Analysis required.
