Part-Time Teacher

• For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom.

• Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA on a part-time basis starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
• This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
• Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00pm.

Qualifications
