The Burlington Academy of Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and experienced Lead PreKindergarten Teacher to join our growing team. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to preparing children for kindergarten through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in our Montessori-inspired environment.

The Lead PreKindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children build confidence, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. This individual will work collaboratively with families and fellow educators to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

The ideal candidate is a confident classroom leader who demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our curriculum.
  • Foster a warm, safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

    • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification (or willingness to obtain).
    • Knowledge of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood licensing regulations is preferred.
