The Administrative Assistant II in Physical Sciences and Mathematics will manage department activities within the hub, which may include but will not be limited to the following: Perform varied administrative and general office duties for academic departments Provide guidance and direction to faculty, staff and students Screen and prioritize incoming calls, determining what contact or action is required Initiate a variety of budget and business transactions (ex: Supplier Invoice Requests, Internal Service Delivery, Honorariums, Purchase Orders, Reimbursements) Order supplies for departmental offices and hub Assist in maintaining office equipment and purchases Ensure confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Experience in specialized clerical and administrative experience in a university environment Ability to prioritize tasks according to need and urgency Excellent organizational and time management skills The hourly rate range for this position is $25.73 - $32.83.
