The teacher will provide spiritual, intellectual, and social formation for K4 students in a Christ-centered environment. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, managing the classroom, and sponsoring an after-school club.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 12 credit hours in education and be at least 21 years old. A valid Texas driver's license and agreement to obtain Catechist Certification are required.
The teacher will form the whole child-spiritually, intellectually, socially, morally, and physically in a Christ-centered environment. The teacher will be able to provide engaging instruction, possess a high level of content knowledge and model all to achieve success. Effective classroom management is essential. The teacher shows evidence of planning and preparing for classroom instruction. The teacher utilizes a variety of teaching strategies in the delivery of instruction. The teacher will be required to sponsor one after school club.
