Market context

California school-age roles need ECE credentials

School-age teacher positions in California are commonly tied to licensed child care programs, so demand is often strongest for candidates who already meet Title 22 education requirements and can clear background screening. These roles can be competitive because employers look for current CPR/First Aid, a valid California Teaching Permit or the ability to obtain it, and experience supporting safe, structured care. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your ECE units and permit status before applying.
