Unit: Athletics and Recreation
Under the direction of the Artistic Swimming - Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives that will help ensure the success of the Artistic student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment. Prepare practice and training equipment ahead of start times Record activities and keep track of statistics during competitions and performances. Recruitment of prospective student-athlete Artistic players Adhere to the administrative rules, regulations and policies of the university and the league (CUASL) regulations Activate fundraising initiatives that will support the Artistic Swimming operational needs. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Excellent interpersonal, analytical, evaluation and planning skills Strong desire and dedication to the development of the student athletes Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Working hours will depend on the time and resources needed during different parts of the season Valid CPR and First Aid certifications preferred Bilingual in French and English Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience Hourly Salary: (AMUSE C) $17.17 Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 10 (Part time) Position Start Date: 2026-09-01 Position End Date: 2027-04-30 Deadline to Apply: 2026-07-23 This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement.
