Provide direct healthcare services including: Sick call, injury assessment, medication administration, and inpatient care Emergency response and escalation to Healthcare Consultant or Medical Advisor, EMS or outside medical providers as needed. Serve as the primary medical authority on shift, making decisions within scope of licensure and job functions. In coordination with other Medical Staff, review camper and staff medical forms prior to and during the summer Supervise medication administration and ensure accurate Medication Administration Records (MARS) Chart all medical care and ensure health records are complete, accurate, and well maintained in coordination with the Medical Office Manager. Direct and support Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) in providing care within their scope Communicate with camper families as appropriate Coordinate with the Medical Office Manager and Camp Director regarding daily reports, trends, and follow-up care Intake and manage medications on Opening Day and oversee medication data entry in UltraCamp. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Health Care Center and communicate supply and equipment needs to the Medical Office Manager. Must be able to provide proof of a physical within the last 18 months and proof that you are up to date on all required immunizations.
