Field Hockey Camp Athletic Trainer

• USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Athletic trainers play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of campers by managing a wide scope of responsibilities.
• Their qualifications allow them to oversee the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of emergent, acute, or chronic injuries and medical conditions.
• They are also responsible for maintaining clear communication with coaches, parents, and campers regarding any medical concerns.
• Athletic trainers are authorized to handle and distribute prescription medication and are trained to diagnose various injuries, including head injuries.
• Duties/Responsibilities Athletic training encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.
• Communication between coaches, parents, and campers regarding medical information.
• Can handle and distribute prescription medication.
• Can diagnose injuries including a head injury.
• Due to the time restraint of the camp, we cannot do a Return-to-play progression.
• Once a head injury is diagnosed, a camper needs full medical clearance from a doctor in order to return.

Minimum Qualifications
