Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week 2026–2027 school year (August 2026 through May 2027) Serving students in grades 6–12 Fully on-site position Primary Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Review and interpret behavioral data to guide intervention strategies and recommendations Provide behavioral consultation and coaching to teachers, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Partner with families to promote consistency between school and home environments Monitor student progress and adjust behavioral supports based on data and outcomes
Guaranteed paid hours, including time for documentation, planning, and administrative responsibilities Reasonable and manageable caseload assignments Ongoing support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team Competitive compensation ranging from $70–$90+ per hour (approximately $2,625–$3,375+ per week, based on a full-time schedule) Required Qualifications Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a closely related field Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and designing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral practices Valid State Department of Education certification or credential, when required for the assignment Experience working with pediatric populations School-based experience is preferred but not required Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Comfortable using technology for documentation, communication, and data collection Successful completion of required fingerprinting and background screening Ability to establish positive working relationships with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment in all communications Physical Requirements This position requires active participation in school and classroom environments throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to perform the physical tasks associated with supporting students, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting, crawling, and engaging with students during instructional and therapeutic activities, while meeting all district expectations and job responsibilities.
