• Scope of work As a team member within the Child and Family Life team, the team member will provide support for the educational needs of pediatric patients at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
• This support includes, but is not limited to, collaborative educational planning with school systems during periods of hospitalization and to meet post-discharge needs, assisting with individualized educational plans, and implementation of the hospital-based school program.

Qualifications

Required Bachelor's Degree 5 years of relevant experience teaching and/or related experience Required special education teaching Preferred behavioral/mental health experience Preferred CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required CRT-Teacher Certificate - MDE Michigan Department of Education 1 Year required Or
