  • Job Title: Dental Assistant 3 Department: Dentistry | Dental Faculty Practice The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for a Dental Assistant.
  • The key responsibilities of this position include the following: Provides dental assisting services to practitioners in Dental Faculty Practice.
  • Provides chair-side assistance; maintains equipment and instruments.
  • Dispenses dental materials.
  • Prepare trays, maintains and orders supplies and cleans instruments.
  • Takes radiographs.

Additional Information

Minimum Requirements: Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current BLS/CPR certification. High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. Dental X-Ray Machine Operator permit from the Ohio State Dental Board. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
