St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Aide to support preschool teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled learning environment for young children. The Preschool Aide assists with classroom activities, student supervision, daily routines, and instructional support while fostering the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development of preschool students. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing daily lessons and learning activities.
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Supervise children during classroom instruction, centers, recess, lunch, rest time, and other activities.
• Help prepare and organize instructional materials, learning centers, and classroom resources.
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and self-help skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce classroom expectations and positive behavior practices.
• Provide individual and small-group support as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and recordkeeping as needed.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with teachers, staff, and families.
• Support and uphold the mission, values, and Catholic identity of the school.
• Follow all school policies regarding student safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children or a willingness to work with preschool-aged students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to working with children.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and actively supervise children throughout the school day.
