About the role

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds based on the needs of each child and the program requirements. The role involves creating fun, interactive learning experiences and ensuring the daily care of every child in the classroom.

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are

Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.

Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.

Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.

Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have

Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.

Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.

The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.

Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

Candidates should have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, or an active CDA in Preschool. Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field is also required, along with the ability to meet state education requirements.
