Tutor

• BA/BS Degree from an accredited, four-year university or college in a field related to education preferred.
• Teaching Certification.
• 3-5 years of K-12 school teaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work collaboratively with partners and schools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints.
• Knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay; and the principles and practices of non-profit organizations.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information and apply appropriate judgment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, high level of professionalism and diplomatic etiquette.
• Above average interpersonal skills: ability to work with and through people at all levels to accomplish goals.
• Ability to retain information and utilize critical thinking skills.
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate an ability to learn quickly.
