The Pre-K Assistant Teacher instructs 4-year-old children under the guidance of a Lead Teacher to prepare them for Kindergarten. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, observing child development, and ensuring daily care according to licensing guidelines.
Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.

Associates Degree or Technical Certification Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
