As an Assistant Group Leader, you’ll work closely with the Site Director and team to deliver high-quality programming that meets YMCA standards and New Hampshire state licensing requirements.

Support daily program operations in alignment with YMCA standards and NH state licensing requirements Provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for youth Build positive relationships with participants, families, and staff; actively supervise at all times Lead and participate in activities, including setup, snack distribution, and cleanup Assist with attendance tracking, headcounts, and behavior management Model YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility Respond to incidents and emergencies following YMCA procedures Collaborate with the Site Director and team to support program quality and communication Support extended programming such as school vacations, snow days, and family engagement events Demonstrate flexibility and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
3 credits in Early Learning or 600 documented hours working with children in a licensed childcare setting.
