Market context
In North Carolina, athletic trainer openings are often tied to schools, sports medicine programs, and rehabilitation settings that need coverage for active populations. This role is competitive because employers typically want a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, ABC certification, North Carolina licensure, and AHA Basic Life Support, while benefits such as PTO, license renewal reimbursement, race fee reimbursement, structured mentoring, and EIB accrual can help offset the demands of the job. Review the licensure and certification requirements first, and note that the job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original posting to save research time.
