The Preschool Aide at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church supports lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered learning environment for preschool-aged children. Job Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities.
Support students in academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Help prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and educational resources.
Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, meals, and transitions.
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Reinforce classroom rules, routines, and behavioral expectations.
Assist with arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and other age-appropriate learning experiences.
Provide individual and small-group support to students as needed.
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs and progress.
