Market context

Counseling faculty roles remain selective

Assistant adjunct professor roles in counseling are typically competitive because programs look for faculty who can teach from current clinical experience while meeting accreditation and licensure expectations. For this Massachusetts role, a master’s degree from a CACREP-accredited counseling program and licensed mental health counselor experience with co-occurring disorders are key signals; candidates should verify their licensure history and prepare examples of teaching or supervision experience. Job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, saving you research time.
