Occupational therapist openings in Illinois are often tied to schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation settings, where licensed clinicians are needed to support patient or student function. These roles are competitive because employers typically look for a degree in occupational therapy, NBCOT certification, a current Illinois license, and preferred experience, plus a cleared CPS background check when applicable. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly confirm fit, then prepare proof of licensure, certification, and relevant experience before applying.
