STATUS: Part-time
The Administrative Coordinator for the Walter R. Garrison College of Nursing serves to provide comprehensive administrative support to the nursing department at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. This dynamic and multi-faceted employee plays a key role within the college and is routinely involved in multidisciplinary functions and working across departments while managing a variety of different responsibilities.
The role will report directly to the Director of Practical Nursing.
Supervisor Responsibilities: None
Essential functions within the Practical Nursing program include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate scheduling for the Nursing Program.
Safeguard the confidentiality of school administration by exercising discretion in communicating information to faculty, students, staff, and the various constituents served by the school and in handling administrative records, files, and similar confidential items.
Draft and maintain weekly faculty meeting minutes, agendas, and related documentation.
Expense reconciliation, ordering supplies/purchase orders.
Printing and filing of student records on campus.
Assisting with faculty and staff compliance documentation and clinical attestations.
Maintain State Board of Nursing Compliance for the practical nursing program.
Progression, graduation, and accreditation reports.
The position provides administrative support to meet accreditation and state regulatory requirements.
Supports student and faculty survey data collection efforts.
Assists with Pinning and Commencement planning and facilitation.
Maintains faculty files for compliance of required documentation.
Assist with proctoring as need.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
