About the role

The instructor is responsible for planning and leading daily archery activities for various age levels while ensuring a safe and fun environment. They must also maintain facility sanitation and adhere to DPH regulations and YMCA policies.

1. Program responsibility

  • Develop appropriate activities for various age levels
  • Plan and lead daily activities.
  • Ensure a fun and safe environment
  • Ensure an appropriate ratio at all times
  • Ensure checklists are completed daily
  • Adhere to all DPH regulations and Old Colony YMCA policies and procedures

1. Fiscal responsibilities

• Adhere to all fiscal policies as outlined by the Association

1. Facitlity/Housekeeping responsibilities

  • Ensure that a sanitary healthy environment is maintained
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures
  • Ensure checklists are completed daily

1. Interdivisional/Community/ Volunteer/ Responsibilities

• Assist in public relations events sponsored by the Old Colony Y.

1. Education/ Experience/ Physical requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Evidence of physical examination every two years
