Provide individual personal training sessions and develop personalized fitness plans for students, faculty, and staff. Collaborate with Wellness Coaching to monitor client progress and ensure safety during gym activities.
Exercise Science major and completion of EXSC 213 Anatomy and EXSC 214 Physiology Enthusiasm and interest in fitness, health promotion, healthy lifestyle practices, and supporting others in achieving their health and fitness goals Basic knowledge of physical exercise, anatomy, and physiology, and the ability to develop appropriate fitness plans based on the client/student’s needs Knowledge of gym equipment, machines, and fitness techniques and safety practices Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with various levels of physical fitness Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Open to feedback for learning, growth, and development Available to work some weeknights and weekends, as required Desired Qualifications: Current student with continued enrollment for the entire 2025-2026 academic year. ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
