Previous experience as a special education teacher is preferred Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
