Nursing Undergraduate Adjunct Clinical Instructor

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical instruction for the undergraduate nursing program in the clinical and/or skills lab setting.
  • Specialty areas: Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Parent-Child, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric, and Community Health.
  • Current openings in all programs: Traditional Day and Evening, Accelerated Day and Weekend

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in specialty area required.
  • Recent hospital experience required for Medical-Surgical courses.
  • Demonstrated current clinical competence (certification) in the specialty area; clinical practice within the previous five years preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (those currently enrolled in an MSN program may be considered)
  • Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required; New Jersey State RN license preferred but not required.

The University offers a wide range of academic programs, including more than 30 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business, education, liberal arts, nursing, occupational therapy, organizational leadership and communication, and physical therapy.
