The lead instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical medical assistant training by following established course outlines and facilitating skill labs. They must also grade assignments, mentor students, and maintain professional standards throughout the program.
Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline. Assist in student learning outcomes. Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies. Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct. Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor Grade class assignments and exams.
5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required. Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math. Front office experience. Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience. No teaching experience required Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately. Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards. Comfortable with computers and technology. Highly organized and detail oriented. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a medical assistant or in a related field and possess a current CPR certification. While no prior teaching experience is required, applicants must be organized, energetic, and comfortable with technology.
