Market context
In Massachusetts, floating teacher roles are common in early childhood settings that need flexible classroom coverage and consistent support across age groups. These positions are competitive because employers often look for candidates with EEC Teacher Certification, a CDA, or equivalent education and experience, plus the physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and stand for most of the day.
