About the role

Provide individualized, one-on-one academic support to a middle school student once per week. Focus on strengthening foundational math and ELA skills while developing the student's organization, planning, and study habits.

Thrive Education Partners connects exceptional educators with families seeking highly personalized, one-on-one or small-group learning experiences. We focus on thoughtful matches that support students with individualized academic needs and help them build skills, confidence, and momentum over time. In this role, you will provide targeted, one-on-one support for a rising 4th grader and rising 7th grader, helping them grow academically while building the habits and confidence needed for long-term success. Support ELA skill development using dyslexia-informed strategies. Help the student prepare for increasingly rigorous middle school coursework. Experience supporting students with dyslexia, executive-functioning needs, or diverse learning profiles strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of foundational math and ELA instruction. Ability to provide patient, structured, strengths-based support. Experience communicating with parents or families about student progress, learning plans, or weekly updates. Able to commit to consistent weekly tutoring sessions. Eligible to work in the United States.
