About the role

The Floating Teacher supports lead teachers across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms by assisting with daily activities, lesson preparation, and learning routines. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, nurturing environment while providing flexible coverage to ensure consistent high-quality care.

We’re currently seeking a Floating Teacher to join our passionate team at our Beverly location.

This vital role supports multiple classrooms, offering flexibility and variety while ensuring consistency in high-quality child care.

You'll thrive in this role if you have

EEC Teacher Certification (any age group), CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (preferred, not required) Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting An engaging and energetic demeanor and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include

  • Availability to work
  • Monday through
  • Friday within operating hours of the center (7:30 am to 5:00 pm) Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Floating Toddler Teacher, you will

Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities, lesson prep, and learning routines Provide flexible classroom coverage across infant, toddler, and preschool age groups in a licensed child care setting Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain consistent, high-quality care Build meaningful relationships with children, teachers, and families Help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment throughout the day
