We're seeking an EEC Certified Pre-K Teacher to join our dedicated team at our Leominster location.
If you're an experienced pre-K teacher, preschool teacher, or early childhood educator who loves the 4–5 year age group, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll lead a classroom of preschoolers through daily routines, hands-on learning experiences, and age-appropriate curriculum designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. \n
EEC Teacher Preschool Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required) Daycare experience in a center-based, private, or public school setting An energetic approach to learning and an positive attitude Curiosity, creativity, and a strong team-focused mindset
Flexibility to work an 8–9-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and strong collaboration skills
Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials Supporting social-emotional growth, early literacy, and school-readiness through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment Assisting with daily routines, including meals, outdoor time, and naptime Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry Helping children build independence, language, problem-solving skills, and confidence as they prepare for kindergarten
