The Assistant Swim Coach works with the Head Swim Coach to develop, coordinate, and manage the swim team in a safe and responsible manner. They are responsible for maintaining organized program operations with minimal direct supervision.
This position works closely with the Head Swim Coach in developing, coordinating, and managing the Villa Sport Swim Team in a safe and responsible manner. This person will be provided with general supervision by the Aquatics Director and will need to be organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to successfully manage the programs with minimal direct supervision. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: Hourly rate of pay based upon relevant experience to the role. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. Complimentary club membership. Job Specific Knowledge Familiarity with aquatics industry Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience Competitive swimming background Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons. Coaching experience preferred. Communication/Organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Education/Certification 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or 18 years of age and Swimming Coaches Safety Training Certification (including First Aid) and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification American Swimming Coaches Association - Level 1 preferred Associates Degree preferred For more information about Villa Sport, please visit our website at www.villasport.com.
