About the role

The classroom support staff assists the teacher in creating an engaging learning environment while managing food preparation, recordkeeping, and health activities. They also provide backup support for the teacher and assist with light janitorial duties to ensure a safe and organized classroom.

Job Status: Full-time (30 hours p/week), 9 months LOCATION: Redwood Falls, MN

Help create an amazing learning environment for young children! As a Head Start Classroom Support, you’ll work side by side with our Head Start Teacher to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners—all while supporting parents to become their child’s greatest advocate.

  • Program: Support recruitment and enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start.

Education and experience

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma/GED and/or relevant experience.
  • CPR and First Aid Certified - or ready to get certified.
  • Food Safety Certification - or the willingness to get certified within 3 months.
