The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor / Scan Lab Instructor. The successful candidate will:
Instruct students and provide feedback on ultrasound scanning techniques.
Ensure students maintain scan lab and equipment and practice proper infection control prevention.
Comply with AIUM and CAAHEP standards and guidelines.
Administer and score OSCE's on campus.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree and possess at least two years of sonography experience with active RDMS or RDCS certification. Clinical experience and strong communication skills are required for this instructional role.
