We are now opening applications for our 2026–2027 Holiday Camp season and looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Holiday Camp Counselors to join our NYC team.
NORY operates camps during select school holidays and school breaks throughout the year, making this a great opportunity for teachers, substitute teachers, college students, teaching artists, afterschool educators, and camp professionals looking for flexible opportunities when schools are closed.

Availability?
You do not need to be available for every Holiday Camp.

7:30 AM to 4:15 PM on scheduled Holiday Camp days.
Compensation? $169 to $179/day, with an additional $20/hour for extended care until 5:00 PM.

Holiday Camp Counselor Responsibilities Mentorship and Guidance: Lead campers through interactive STEM activities, guiding both their educational and personal development.

Activity Coordination: Help organize and lead camp activities, ensuring each day is dynamic and enriching for every camper.
Holiday Camp Counselor Qualifications Experience with Children: You have 2+ years of experience working with children aged 3 to 12 and possess a genuine passion for education and child development.
Enthusiastic and Eager to Learn: You are enthusiastic about learning new technologies and skills.
