The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide speech services to elementary students. They will also collaborate with educators and families while maintaining compliance with IEP goals and state requirements.
We are seeking two full-time Speech Language Pathologists to provide school-based services to elementary students in Wayne County, Michigan. One position will primarily serve students in a K–3 building. The Speech Language Pathologists will assess students' communication needs, provide individualized therapy, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success. Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Provide individual and small-group speech and language services. Develop and monitor speech and language goals within students' IEPs. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers. Provide strategies and recommendations to support communication skills in the classroom. Maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements.
