The Substitute Teacher at St. Cecilia School and Academy provides instructional and classroom support in the absence of the regular teacher. This position is responsible for maintaining a positive, safe, and faith-centered learning environment while delivering lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the academic, social, and spiritual development of students in accordance with the mission of Catholic education. Key Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Supervise students throughout the school day and ensure their safety and well-being.
Manage classroom behavior using established school policies and procedures.
Provide instruction and assistance to students across various grade levels and subject areas as assigned.
Communicate effectively with school administrators, teachers, and staff regarding classroom activities and student needs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and classroom incidents as required.
Support and uphold the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church and St.
Cecilia School and Academy.
