The Enrichment Leader provides a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for students by supervising after-school activities and clubs. They are responsible for supporting students with homework, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Supervise and foster a safe and nurturing learning environment Provide support to students with their homework Implement enrichment activities such as clubs and sports Prepare instructional, display, and work materials Prepare and supervise after school activities Participate in professional development training, as necessary Establish good relations with individual students and groups Regular attendance, dependability and punctuality in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position. Demonstrate strong math skills Communicate and relate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Exhibit flexibility and be team-oriented Enforce safety and disciplinary procedures and rules Display excellent management and organizational skills and a positive attitude Organize and File paperwork Establish good relationship with staff, students, and parents Other responsibilities, as assigned Desired Skills and Traits: Must be flexible, positive, detail-oriented, team player, patient and willing to learn Bilingual in Spanish preferred Communicate and relate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Foster a positive and welcoming environment for staff and students Display excellent management and organizational skills and positive attitude Strong math and reading skills Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with computers and software applications. Proficiency with or the ability to learn current software and equipment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED Must be currently enrolled in a college or university Must have prior experience working with students in a learning environment Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week and adhere to the following schedule: 2:30pm-6:00pm M-W and F, 12:00PM-6:00PM Th Physical demands: Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Occasional or frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping and reaching for extended periods of time Occasional computer work including but not limited to typing Compensation & Benefits: This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated educator to assume a fundamental role in an innovative school environment.
