Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy services to students with communication goals as part of IEPs.
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans to support academic participation and communication outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to integrate communication goals across curricula.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in required school-based records and communicate with families and caregivers as appropriate.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting, progress reporting, and transition planning when applicable.
  • Ensure services are delivered in compliance with school policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CF-SLP licensure (Clinical Fellowship) required or active CF-SLP eligibility per state requirements
  • Ability to work in a K-12 school setting, Monday through Friday, dayshift
  • Experience in school-based therapy or familiarity with IEP processes preferred
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
