Successful substitutes are adaptable, dependable, comfortable moving among different courses, and able to build respectful relationships with students and colleagues. This is an on-call, per-diem position. Substitute Teachers must be available to work the full school day from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. when accepting an assignment.

Comfort supporting students in advanced and specialized courses without needing to be an expert in every subject. Sound judgment, flexibility, dependability, and the ability to respond calmly to changing classroom needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and administrators. Comfort using Google Classroom, Veracross, and Google Workspace applications. Flexibility to work within the School’s rotating schedule and respond to changing daily assignments.
