Swim Instructor

The instructor will provide quality swim instruction aligned with the ymca swim lessons curriculum, ensuring participants learn the four competitive strokes. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate progress records and communicating effectively with caregivers about expectations and skill development.

Candidates must be capable of teaching all four competitive swimming strokes and possess experience working with children, including the ability to provide effective in-Water correction. The role requires obtaining proper training certifications, such as the red cross water safety instructor certification, which the employer will cover.
