School Based Therapist

The therapist will provide assessments and psychotherapy to students and families using evidence-Based practices, including individual, family, and group therapy, and manage co-Occurring substance abuse and mental health treatment. Responsibilities also include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, and actively participating on the school intervention team.

Candidates should possess credentials such as lmsw, lcsw, lmft, or lmhc, though permit therapists with clinical internship experience will be considered. Essential requirements include flexibility, orientation to family work, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency for emr use, and a valid new york state driver’s license with reliable transportation.
