School Based Therapist

The therapist will provide assessments and psychotherapy to students and families using evidence-Based practices, including individual, family, and group therapy, as well as substance abuse and mental health treatment. Responsibilities also include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, and actively participating on the school intervention team.

Candidates should possess licensure such as lmsw, lcsw, lmft, or lmhc, though permit therapists with clinical internship experience will be considered. Required attributes include flexibility, orientation to family work, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency for emr use, and a valid new york state driver’s license with reliable transportation.
