Instructional Assistant - Grass Valley

The instructional assistant supports epic teachers by providing supplemental small group instruction and tutoring to adult students at the high school level, sometimes utilizing remote instruction from learning centers across california. Essential duties include assisting teachers with individualized learning plans, tutoring, developing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and potentially serving as a translator for non-English speaking students.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, english, spanish, education, or mathematics, and be bilingual in spanish is required. Successful performance requires skills in organization, time management, data analysis for student growth, and the ability to use various computer applications, along with passing mandatory tb clearance and criminal background checks.
