Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, possess patience and compassion, and be able to work well in a team, while also meeting physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or ged, and obtain necessary certifications like cpr/First aid and the rbt certification after onboarding.
