Development Officer - Athletics

This role supports and participates in fundraising efforts for wayne state university athletics by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding leadership annual and major gift donors to meet established goals. Key duties include managing the w club fund operations, developing fundraising strategies, and managing a portfolio of 50-75 gift prospects.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field (E.g., marketing, business administration, sports management) and a minimum of two to three years of experience in fundraising, specifically direct individual solicitations. Required abilities include strong analytical, presentation, collaboration, communication, planning, organization, and technical skills.
