Description The Ecclesial School at Saint Alban’s offers a rich learning atmosphere, vibrant Christian community, and classical liberal arts curriculum to children of diverse social and economic backgrounds. The part-time, hourly role of the Upper School Aftercare Coordinator supports this mission and vision each day by providing a safe environment and meaningful educational activities with Upper School students (grades 7-11) who need additional math support.
Requirements
Aftercare Coordinator Responsibilities: Work with the Dean to set aftercare mathematic lesson plans for Upper School students Communicate with the dean about the progress of the program Supervise students during activities Provide data recording which students and families participate in the program Print materials, preparing teaching materials and classroom supplies All employees of The Ecclesial School at Saint Alban’s are expected to: Affirm the Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed without exception, and maintain active membership in a local parish or congregation Endeavor to keep unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace by maintaining high standards of professional communication and commitment to redemptive conflict resolution Participate eagerly in the life of the school community Build relationships with colleagues, students and their families Prepare for and participate in professional development activities Attend school activities as noted on the staff calendar Character and Disposition Loves learning and loves children Actively engaged in the life of the Church Committed to professional growth in a collegial setting Passionate about the mission and vision of The Ecclesial School Maintains positive and professional tone with parents, students, families, and guests
