The part-time, hourly role of the Aftercare Coordinator supports this mission and vision each day by providing a safe environment and meaningful educational activities where students of varying ages can participate.

Requirements

Aftercare Coordinator Responsibilities: Manage aftercare schedule Communicate with the dean about the progress of the program Develop enriching activities Maintain record keeping for aftercare workers and volunteers Supervise students during play and activities Provide data recording which students and families participate in the program Print materials, preparing teaching materials and classroom supplies All employees of The Ecclesial School at Northland are expected to: Affirm the Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed without exception, and maintain active membership in a local parish or congregation Endeavor to keep unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace by maintaining high standards of professional communication and commitment to redemptive conflict resolution Participate eagerly in the life of the school community Build relationships with colleagues, students and their families Prepare for and participate in professional development activities Attend school activities as noted on the staff calendar Character and Disposition Loves learning and loves children Actively engaged in the life of the Church Committed to professional growth in a collegial setting Passionate about the mission and vision of The Ecclesial School Maintains positive and professional tone with parents, students, families, and guests
